STEAG Energy Services' (SES) contractual obligations are to operate and maintain the entire plant benchmarking against best plants in terms of cost, performance and plant staffing. Responsibilities of SES: O&M of 4 x 600 MW coal-fired units (China made) incl. coal and ash handling; review of documentation and preparation of a comprehensive O&M manual; review of plant performance tests, preparation of a punch list and final acceptance of each unit; creation of spare part lists, specification and evaluation of techno-commercial bids; supporting the client with renewal of licenses; coordination with the dispatchers; coal unloading from truck or train; locomotive maintenance; rail track maintenance; disposing of ashes to an ash Holding Pond.
