Competency Development Programs for native employees
As part of a long-term O&M contract, SESI was required to design, develop and deliver a Competency Development Program. Services included:
- Assessment of competencies of employees to determine training needs.
- Establishment of an appropriate training strategy and a training plan to develop and upgrade skills of employees to operate and maintain the plant to the highest international standards of efficiency, safety, and availability.
- Designing, developing, and delivering training programs included in the training plan.
255 employees of Morupule B power station belonging to different categories underwent the program comprised of classroom and field training followed by on-the-job mentoring.
