The National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) has given the work order to STEAG Energy Services India (SESI) for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a combined-cycle gas-fired simulator for their AFAM regional training center. The simulator has been supplied and promotes capacity building and the development of skills for the growing Nigerian power sector. NAPTIN serves as a focal point for human resource development and workforce capacity building as well as a research center on matters relating to power in Nigeria and in the future for Africa in general.
